Subject: 'Good Mood' Ceramic-Making Workshop for Children and Teens age 8 -16
Make an ANGEL / FAIRY (slab biliding, 3D texture decorating)
Date: FRIDAY , September 29th
Time: 4-6pm
Ceramic-making workshop for kids. In this class participants will have the opportunity explore ceramic making process.
The workshop takes place at The Mood Designs, located on Ellison Street, Castlebar, Co. Mayo (F23 CD83). The class will be held in the upstairs studio, providing a comfortable and creative environment for you to explore your artistic talents.
The session starts with a brief demonstration led by our experienced ceramic teachers. They will guide you through the various ceramic techniques, including slab building and underglaze decorating, enabling you to craft your masterpiece. Don't worry if you're new to ceramics; the workshop is designed to be fun, relaxing, and fruitful, allowing you to enjoy the process and unleash your creativity.
In the class, we provide all the necessary materials, clay, tools, and textures to work with. Once you've completed your sculpture, our team will handle the glazing and firing processes in our studio. Afterward, you'll receive a text message to let you know when your finished piece is ready for collection.
Please note that the glazing and firing can take approximately 3 to 5 weeks after the workshop. But it'll be worth the wait when you see the final result, which you'll undoubtedly be extremely proud of.
To ensure everyone gets personalized attention, we have limited places available, so booking in advance is essential. Should you need to cancel, we offer a full refund for cancellations made up to 2 days before the workshop. However, late cancellations won't be refunded.
We encourage you to explore your creative side, meet new friends, or share this experience with a loved one. You never know, this workshop might spark a newfound passion for ceramics within you. For more information and to secure your spot, please contact us at themooddesigns@gmail.com.
