Join our 6 weeks course for beginners, adults only ( 16+) 
No experience is needed.
 
Give yourself the opportunity to dive into your creativity, exploring different ceramic techniques in the 'Good Mood' 6-week course for beginners. We'll have special guest teacher Henri from Terrybaun Pottery joining us for wheel throwing on one of the evenings, so everyone will have a chance to give it a go on the pottery wheel.
Each class begins with a short demonstration by one of our experienced ceramic teachers, followed by introducing the tools, clay texture and possibilities. We do our best to make it a fun, relaxing and fruitful time where you can spend with a loved one, meeting new friends, and learning a new skill. 
 
The course will run on WEDNESDAY evenings for 6 weeks.
 
Classes dates: 4,11,18,25 October 1,8 November
Time: 6:30 - 8:30
Place: The Mood Designs (upstairs studio) Ellison Street, Castlebar, Co. Mayo F23 CD83)

During the course, each person will be able to make from scratch and glaze approximately 6 pieces of ceramic. Bowls, mugs, plates, decorations etc. We'll guide you on which way is best for you to complete your projects, where pinch pot, coiling, slab built, slip decorating, wheel throwing, sgraffito, underglaze applying, and glazing are some of the techniques you'll be able to make and complete Your Master Pieces.
 
Ceramics will fired afterwards in our studio by our team. 
 
Your pieces (which you'll be extremely proud of) will be ready to collect approx. 2/3 weeks after the course.
 
All materials and firing ceramics included.
